Hey guys / yo dudes / hey dudes / yo guys
I have been,…. Aaargh ….. Oh yeah, I went to a blow hole at the Nullabor. The air blowing out was so cool – like air conditioning – I’d like to build my bedroom around it.
At the boarder into WA we were ready to cross and oops – we lost 3 onions and 3 jars of honey at the fruit fly inspection.
After crossing the boarder we ate dinner at a road house because we had no fruit or vegetables – everything was homemade and really yum. The next night we stopped at the side of the road to camp and a guy also there gave me a 2006 racing car manual – his pet dog Jake was very soppy and loved getting pats from me.
At Esperence Dad and I went for a huge walk off the track because we wanted to get to a cave Dad saw at the top. We had to push through lots of trees that were burnt and we both got covered in charcoal. But we were the only footprints in the cave (other than kangaroo prints). I think it was the worst walk ever! We also did a 2 ½ hour walk to hellfire bay – though the sign said it would take 4 hours.
I got to feed a sea lion at the jetty at Esperence cause a man and lady gave me a bucket of fish to give to the sea lion – it was cool. While at Esperence mum and dad also bought me some sunglasses, some beach sandles, a new beanie, and 3 books.
Then it was off to Albany where we stayed at a caravan park. I smashed Dad at Billiards and nascar racing, but I lost severely at air hockey. I got to go to a whale station – it had huge blue whale skeleton’s on display and real whale blubber. I also used my money to buy a ring. Plus they had one of the last whaling boats you could look thorough, and it had a real harpoon gun.
Then we went to Margaret River. On the way we stopped at a Meadery and I had honey vanilla and honey chocolate icecream. We went on a tree top walk amongst the red tingle trees that was really high off the ground (38 meters). We camped at the National Park and I met a grown up lady from Melbourne who like age of empires!
The next day dad and I climbed up a really high tree (52 meters) that was a fire lookout in the 1940’s.
We are now at a really cool camp site at a National Park in the Margaret River region. I am having lots of fun.
