Cozumel, Mexico - Picturesque as a postcard!

USA | Tuesday, 21 September 2010 | Views [1428]

Stunningly beautiful beaches!  Crystal clear aquamarine ocean water.  Wonderfully warm people!  Delicious food!  GREAT snorkeling when you have a "William" to guide you in a kayak. Great massages on the Playa del Carmen side by "Hilda!"  This is a safe, comfortable, village atmosphere that is only compromised by the daily (except for Sunday) cruise-ship economy. Because of the daily sun/heat/humidity the swimming pools have been just perfect so swimming twice a day has been such a pleasure!  We would highly recommend Residencia's Reef at the south part of the island as a quiet place to stay.  Although there is no place to go eat after 5pm, we had a great kitchen, private cooling pool & all the comforts of a relaxing vacation.  Love the creatures crawling around too - the iguanas & crabs are so shy...contrasted with the fish that swam with us close to the surface of the water!  What a GREAT place to warm up!  Loved the tropical storm with all it's thunder too!  See photos ->>>
