I caught a train to Lucerne (Luzern) today. The landscape along the hour ride was filled with lakes and mountains. I got to the hostel and dropped off my bags before heading off to see the town. The lake was awesome and full of sailboats. I sat on a bench by the lake for almost an hour before following the trail around the lake. Then I wandered around the city a bit more. It is not a very large place, so I saw most of the city in a few hours. I stopped by the Dying Lion Monument and the Lucerne water tower during my walks. I turned in fairly early as it started to drip rain a little.
