Magical little town surrounded by mountains giving it its own little micro climate, typically 5 degrees warmer than nearby towns. Had a top week here based at a beautiful hostel in an even more beautiful rustic cabin, hand built by the owner Claudio who is a genius with a chainsaw and timber. Shared some great times with Claudio and his wife Valeri exchanging cooking lessons; empanadas for vietnamese fresh spring rolls, and out on the parilla for asados and our first pizza on the grill! Their two young children Nicolas and Agustina, together with the 3 dogs, Scooby Doo, Barbie and Princess also kept us entertained when we weren't out enjoying the town or nature trails.
