Major drawcard of this cute town is Rio Futaleufu (aka The Futa or The Fu), famed for having some of the best white water in the world with numerous large, dangerous and technical rapids. We planned doing a rafting day trip there, instead we ended up spending 6 days on the water staying in a gorgeous river side camp complete with wood fired sauna to heat up from the cold following each day of activity.
