Adventures of Matt & Tani

Pampas

Bolivia | Friday, February 25, 2011 | 121 photos

Flew out to Rurrenebaque from La Paz for a few nights to do some wildlife spotting and hunt for the elusive Anaconda along part of the Bolivian Amazon. After 1.5h of grid searching through chest high reeds, our group found a nice one serpiente of 3m. Piranas, turtles, alligators, black caimans, catfish, sloth bears, monkeys, capybaras, pink dolphins, pretty birds, bulls, volleyball, sunset, hammocks, fishing, hot weather...a complete contrast to the 6088m freezing cold moutnain we had summitted before xmas.
