Day 64: Feeling better

INDIA | Tuesday, 8 January 2008 | Views [882]

Tuesday 8th January

I woke feeling better than the day before but still felt the need for more R&R: rest and reading. I spent the morning emailing and that took me up to lunchtime. I finished the book I had been reading, a book called 'Tell Me No Lies', a book full of investigative journalism articles which I found to be a fascinating eye-opener into some of the things that go unnoticed by the wider public, with the US government coming in for most of the criticism, so no surprise there.

The rest of the evening was a continuation of earlier in the day, and started on a book called 'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho, a book that had been recommended to me by one of the guys that had been on the camel safari in Jaisalmer a few weeks before.

I had a wonderful dinner of tandoori butterfish and it was really delicious, cooked to perfection and at a pretty reasonable price too. Then it was off to bed – how boring had I become?
