this will be very brief. I have very little internet time. But I spent a wonderful 5 days in yosemite visiting friends and spent a week walking to Tahoe. Two hiker friends and I somehow connected with a couple who decided to house us in thier cabin and fed us a delicious breakfast and will be making dinner. It is truly trail magic. We also hit mile 1000 this week! I will write again when I have the chance.
