Continental Divide Trail 2011 close to 3000 miles through new mexico, colorado, wyoming and montana. May 1 start date.

I left mammoth on tuesday night and made it over 50 miles by thursday night. I showed up at my trail crew camp right at dinner time--perfect timing! I spent the night with them last night. It was great to see them and felt particuarly wonderful to have walked there from home. I walked into Yosemite Valley this morning and was overwhelmed with the number of people on the trail. I plan to stay here for the weekend, but I'm already anxious to be back on the trail.
