I've just returned from a reallt good yellow dahl and tandoori roti meal at the BBQ restaurant on Brook Street, Kokata. Not for the first time I feel slightly ripped off none the less, to the matter of pennies albeit.
this seems to be the game I have encuntered n Calcutta to date and I am fair game it seems. To a service tax I don't understand as it does not seem to go to the service and this evening to a suggestion for a second roti I did not want but accepted in any case as I felt guilty about the paltry meal Iwas consuming. In fact I did not even want the orange juice I ordered.
Anyway it is up to me to either toughen up a bit or accept the situation as is or probbly a compromise between the two. Otherwise I shall end up avoiding places I like and feeding a bitter energy.
Another thing.. If there are a load of spelling mistakes in this I blame it not on my poor typing or on the logitech keyboard I purchased but on the universally poor lighitng I have encountered so far.
I shall be reading Buthchers Crossing with my headlamp on. Poor me!!!
Ok so I've started my blog with a winge... Is that like me? Probably.
There is much more to relate but that will be for another time. Butcher's Crisssig now..
