After an interrupted start thanks to some pathetic red-tape from Ryanair, I arrived in Rome to meet up with Nicole and Simon. We had three days in the capital and were treated to some quality weather and covered a fair bit of ground in checking out the city.
Highlights were definitely the food in Trastevere, (revisited Pizza Pazza and you can never go past some decent Italian Gelati!) checking out some nice parks which offered some good vantage points of the city, enjoying the breakfasts supplied by Nicole's hotel, and generally just people-watching!
