About 15 of us met up
in Berlin for Jobby Snr’s bucks weekend. It was a decent couple of days
although the time went very quickly. The streets were actually very quiet
which was surprising given that it’s school holidays over here, but it
made it easy to get around.
It was very strange meeting up with everyone
outside of Australia that’s for sure. A couple of the bars/restaurants
that we went to in Berlin didn’t allow you to pay for drinks as you go
which was interesting – it meant that the poor girl trying to sort out
the bill at the end of the night had her work cut out!!. The highlights
of the weekend were kicking a footy around the Reichstag (German Parliament), taking a cruise on the spree river through the middle of Berlin, and just catching up with everyone.
