Chillin' with Brett and Ashleigh on the way from Poland to Argentina

Chillin' with Brett and Ashleigh on the way from Poland to Argentina

The overnight bus from Wroclaw dropped us off in Nuremberg at 5 AM, just as the Friday night partiers were staggering to the bahnhof, herds of drunken guys and gaggles of sexily dressed (or un-dressed) women.  We boarded the train with of a couple of barely sober GIs from Rose Barracks, and click-clacked with them to Vilseck.  Traveling without a base to touch on occasion would be impossble.  We are lucky to have Sandy in London, Creighton in Italy and Brett and Ashleigh in Germany for doctors and prescriptions and important mail from the US.  Ashleigh picked up my prescription from the base pharmacy and collected our new debit card, mailed by another friend (and angel) in Colorado.  Germany is cute as hell, but we had to rush our visit, just enough time to visit the PX, do a couple of loads of wash and chat for a bit.  We have trains to catch, planes to board and places to be.  First a train back to Nuremberg where we changed to the inter-city express to Munich and on to the airport.  It doesn't take long when the trains travel at 110 mph but we were still stressed.  This is the first time in ages when we have a schedule to keep.
