Reprise – Uluru Sunset

AUSTRALIA | Sunday, 9 March 2014 | Views [130]

After dinner, we decided to take one last trip around Uluru. On our way out, we stopped in the carpark to watch a colorful parrot eating a plum. He certainly was enjoying his sweet snack! After we entered the Park, we had a quick stop in the sunset parking lot to grab a couple of photos – this sunset wasn't interrupted as much by clouds compared to yesterday's. We kept seeing a little different aspect of Uluru as we drove around the Rock and sunlight waned. We didn't get a dramatic silhouette view as the sun had already dipped below the horizon as we went around the west side of Uluru. The sunset reds in the clouds were a little more pronounced this evening, but the view wasn't as good since the clouds were further away. All in all, it was an excellent end to our short stay at Uluru.
