There are all sorts of
things going on around Chicago on the weekends and today there is a strawberry
festival outside of the city. Sounds good to us, so we all pile into the car
and head out in search of all things strawberry.
What we find is a small
town fest that is selling everything. We wonder around for a while, before we
come across some food stalls making an effort. Strawberry jam, strawberry bbq
sauce and strawberry pies. We’ll take one of each thanks!
29th
There are so many historical places in and around Chicago, we decide to see at least one of them while we're here. The famous architect, Frank Lloyd Wright designed a lot of houses not too far from where we're staying, so mom drives us over to see them. We stroll around the beautifully designed houses on tree lined streets.
30th
It's that time again...hair braiding time! I spend the day slouched in a chair, having my hair pulled and yanked and braided. End result...headache
