A desire to take a trip to Turkey was the starting point for Celeste and myself. 2 years ago after returning from Europe we started to save and plan. The romance of Istanbul and the lure to see Gallipoli, to finish off a part of Hugh’s ( Celeste's great uncle ) journey through WW1 was a great motivator.
Kerry and Katrina expressed interest and before we knew it the team had come together to plan our next adventure together, all six of us.
September 2015 will see us all head to Turkey to start a 3 week tour in Istanbul taking in Gallipoli as well as a 4 day Mediterranean cruise on a wooden Gulet ( refitted fishing boat ) , the sights of Cappadocia as well as all that is in between.
Then we head off to Italy to start in Venice, pick up a car big enough for all of us and travel through Switzerland, Germany and the outskirts of France before flying to K.L. for a few days before heading home.
This adventure will see us touring for about 7 weeks in total .
