My screening is done. There was a guy from Pixar and an Oscar nominated actress in my group.
There's a video link to a Q&A from after the screening. I kind of take over the mike and start interviewing the guy to my left a little.
The audence were responsive, but not really the demographic who will relate to my film. They're retirees mostly, plus the standard of the other films was very high. I feel a bit silly having 'Flip' here, it's such a small and rough film. But there you go, it was accepted so I suppose it deserves to be here.
Very tired, from lack of sleep but not jetlag. 3 more full days to go, then fly out Sunday morning, so it's half over. I haven't heard how the wednesday screening back in Melbourne went, maybe no-one went. We'll see how people respond on Saturday I hope.
