There and Back Again The continuing travels of me

mystery bills

JAPAN | Tuesday, 16 June 2009 | Views [422]

I wasn't sure I'd post again this week, but it's a slow morning.

I just received a blue envelope with what appear to be 4 separate bills worth around $500.

I have no idea what these are or what they might be for. Have to get some help reading them.

There's always something.

*****UPDATE***** I found out what the bills are, it's residents tax. Now I have to find out if I have to pay all 4 of them, since 3 are not actually due till after my contract is over. The full amount is equivalent to $535 Australian dollars. So I'd rather not if I can avoid it.

For anyone interested here's the link to lulu.com where my kids book 'Max' is published. This was only ever intended as a present for my nephew Max, but it's there and available to purchase. Not that anyone but me has ever bought one.

I've been getting some emails from the Palm Springs Short Film Festival in preparation for next week, wanting contact info, details about travel etc. They may be organising local TV interviews etc. for film makers. There are also some good seminars and the chance to book 15 minute one on one meetings with various film professionals, it should be a good week.
