The count down....

NEPAL | Friday, 5 June 2009 | Views [797]

30/4/09 day 21 Short day today- good!! Tomorrow the countdown can start to the life I know. I like the short walks, even if it includes some steep up and downs. May first – the Merry Month of Margit has begun….. I have to remind myself that we still have some hard days of trekking ahead of us ( I am a bit scared I have to say – knowing how hard it can get…..and no way out…..) Today was relatively easy – for me that is, since I like warm –even hot weather and I like climbing up. We retraced our steps back from Namche for a while, but now we are on an entirely different route to Hile to catch a fairly new bus route back to Kathmandu. (Supposedly 17 hour ride). The path started off very steep, but sweetened since it’s been plastered with ladybugs and the temperature is tropical, the birds are singing and it feels very springy/mayish……I love it, but am still concerned , because our guidebook describes the next days as difficult/hard.
