Out of the bubble......... One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.-- Henry Miller

Grateful

Saturday May 3rd It blows my mind again to realize where I am……We are staying in a little Sherpa village named Najimgdimgma. We got here descending and ascending through steep, steep rocks and forests. It hailed and rained on us then it cleared again to show us the dramatic Mountains which are all around and very steep on all sides. I have been feeling quite strong and capable. My legs and lungs work really well at this point. ( it helps having more oxygen in the blood from the previous higher altitude, I am sure) We are staying in a very primitive place, yak fur hanging to dry by the fire place – they gave me a pillow of straw (good thing I got my own). I am looking up to the sky and am ever so grateful for my life…..
