Kuang Si Falls <3

Damn itttt!! We forgot to check in for another couple of nights, and the hostel is full so we have to move out and find another. Seeing as Frans & I are up first we head out to investigate. We walk around for quite a bit, but end up finding somewhere- It has free wifi so the boys will be happy and free brekkie and tea/coffee aaaaaand a computer that i can use :) hehehehe!!

We grab the boys and walk on over- Its not much further up from the old one and still on the main road.. After dropping off the bags and arguing who gets top vs bottom we walk back to our old hostel to meet Mike and grab some brekkie.

Mike brings along 2 girls, Russian chick, Barbera and a Sweedish girl, uurrrm can't remember her name.. We find a nice spot by the river and have a nice brekkie, bad coffee though.

Grab a tuk, get a resonable price and head on out to the waterfall called Kuang Si and its about 30clicks outta town. When we get there we skip paying the stupid 20,000K fee, i mean, really its a natural waterfall why pay? hhhmm

There is a bear resuce center here aswell with some amazing black bears lounging in the sun- was pretty nice and a surprise..

Getting to the bottom of the fall was amazing, and we hadn't even seen it all.. The water was SO blue, turquoise, white and perfect.. Further up the path there was a bigger pool with a swing rope- I get my togs on and we head in... ITS FREEEEEZING arrrrgh- hard nipples straight away, but I aint getting out so I swim to the sunlight.. Quite a challenge as there is loads of tree roots in the bottom and you fall over all of the time.. The boys are pretty keen on the rope, but man its too cold, and I have the feeling that my tog bottoms will fall off.. So we just watch them have a few goes.. There was a girl that forgot to let go and nearly crashed into the side?! hahaha

We walk a bit more up and reach the actual falls and its HUGE, biggest I've seen.. Beats some of the ones back in NZ.. Its just so pretty and HUUUUGE. We walk over, take some photos, and notice a path to the side and decide to walk up to the top..

AAARGH I am unfit and that was super hard but TOTALLY worth it, getting to the top of the falls was just spectaular, words can't describe it, totally worth it:):):):):) I think its about 200ft tall, 60metres... WOW!!!!!

Getting back down was easier than I thought and I'm enjoying climbing through the jungle, loving the nature.. By this point though we're all pretty exhusted and find our tuk driver, after some snacks of course... On the way back there was a ute following us with a family in all singing, clapping waving at us, super funny and awesome, they were so happy to see us and it was nice that they were just cruising along the road singing away- and the babies in the front waving at us:):):):) awwwww

We meet back up with Mike and the sweedish girl and have a curry- Frans & Stijn's first one.. There was even palak paneer on the menu!!! This resturant has to be good.. I order waaaay too much and scoff it all, it was pretty good and Frans & Stijn enjoyed it too which was nice:)

MAAAAN I have such a food coma going on.. MUST LEARN TO NOT EAT WITH MY EYES DAMN IT

We head to the bowling ally, play a few games, was doing well the first round.. 2nd/3rd after some beerlao and it just goes down hill from there.. The Sweedish chick can't stop complaining about her nails breaking and sits there with a stone face on.. hhhmm

Once the crowds come in around 23:30 we head back, its just too much commotion with so many people in- All the bars close at 23:30 and the bowling ally is the only place in town that you can drink at till 02:00 so it get packs of farang and they're just loud and irritating... haha, so we head back, and its beeeeed tiiiiiiiiiime!
