Day 79 - Buying Havaianas

I would just like everyone to know that you can buy Havaiana thongs (flip flops) here in Brazil in the supermarket.

Amongst the aisles of pasta, fruit and alcohol are literally tens of different thongs of all shapes and colours!

After visiting the supermarket tons of times, I finally splashed out and bought myself a pair of royal blue ones for the grand old sum of 9 reals ($6AUD). For that price I will definitely be likely to become the Imelda Marcos of Havaianas here and I am already thinking of creative ways to make more space in my backpack so i can carry Havaianas into Europe......

Dear Sir or Madam,

We have plans to start our own business for accessories and shoes in the Netherlands and we would like to know if we could buy pairs of Havaianas and Ipanema flip flops and shoes. Do you have connections or so?
