So we've arrived in New Zealand, land of the Kiwis!  The flight was nice, Qantas runs a tight ship with excellent accomodations, and my new best fliying pal is ambien!

Things have been going smoothly so far, except for the AirBus driver who couldn't tell us where to wait for the bus he was driving.  Needless to say, a sprint for the bus with 60lb packs really helps you re-evaluate what you've packed.  Loie, expect a package in the next few weeks...

As for everything else, Auckland is a pretty nice city...kind of reminds us of South Street relocated to Canada.  The weather is beautiful, and the city is easy to navigate.

We're currently lodging at the Auckland City YHA.  Nice digs, clean, good people, NZ$19 per night.  All in all, not bad; a nice introduction for Jake into the hostel world.

Well, we're off, pictures coming soon!!

A little comedy, yeah I will be doing this for as long as you are gone. No rhyme, no reason. Good to know you arrived. Find me a tasmanian devil, I hear they are ugly. No excuses.

Jeremy Grey: How many times you gonna do this bullshit? Rule #32: never commit to a relative unless you're absolutely positive they have a pulse.

John Beckwith: Rule #16: give me an up-to-date family tree, that was your mistake, you just made me look like an idiot.
