Spring in Deutschland

USA | Saturday, 18 April 2015 | Views [319]

Sun and spring rain have brought out beautiful green leaves, plums, forsythia, tulips, and daffodils, contrasted against green moss along the streams and on the trees of oak beech and birch.

Near small villages in the Kaiserslautern district is part of the Sankt Jacobsweg and other hiking trails in the PfalzerWald, or Palatinate-Rhineland Forest, with one of the most beautiful mossy streams I've ever seen. This was along one of several routes for pilgrims through Germany to Santiago Compostela in Spain.
