A relaxing morning. Ended up having breakfast with Jade, Sam, Steve, Jeanette, James and Doug. Very pleasant. At that stage it was decided that we would all (us and quite a few others) would meet at the Oulde Markt for lunch – not that the food was necessary – breakfast is a rather large affair – so we all wandered down there and met up and sat in the beautiful old square in glorious sunshine for the better part of the afternoon socialising. Did a quick bit of shopping on the way back to the motel where a group of us watched the first of the World Cup matches for the day. This turned into tea out, a wander to the town square where they have this strange beetle on a needle – some sort of artists impression – found a good ice cream shop before heading back for more world cup and bed.
