The big day! As the wedding was not until the evening we spent the day exploring Leuven. It is a student town and half the population are about to leave on holidays. The centre of the town is very quaint. The town hall and the church date back to the 1500s and there are lots of wide cobbled streets and beautiful buildings. Our motel is across the road from the Stella Artois base factory – so we met a few of the guests with a beer in the afternoon, and then all headed off to the old brewery which has been done up and was a unique venue. Lyn and I got a private roof top view when we were wandering around taking some photos – just right time right place. The wedding was beautiful, and all went off well. Sara looked amazing. 38 Australians in Belgium and we all had a great night with our Belgian hosts and their friends.
