For our full last day on the continent, Brydie and I sent Ian off to the Deutsches Flying museum out near the airport and we had some retail therapy. Both of us looked at lots and spent some so a good day. Ian enjoyed the museum, but perhaps not the public transport so much. On Ian’s return we went back to the accommodation to ensure that all our cases were ok as we had to do some juggling with some of Brydie’s stuff to make sure we were all in weight as she leaves early tomorrow. Wandered the centre of Munich as the sun set and found a lovely German restaurant in the cellars under the RatHaus (Council chambers – this is the building with the Glockenspiel). It was very quaint, and the food was good. Meandered home taking in the sights.
