Had more luck with the Deutsches museum. A science and technology museum that has lots of hands on - we just had to elbow the school children out of the way :). Then off to the Royal Residence - the main home of the Bavarian Wittelsbach family. So well done and so much opulence. Our final tour for the day was a Bier 🍺 tour. We joined a nice group of people (again no Aussies) and tried different sorts of beer in different locations with some local food and interesting commentary. The tour end at the Hofbrauhaus where the stayers of us went in until we were kicked out. Ilya (a Russian American- really!) who has just completed his PhD in bio medical engineering and Meghan and Jean Francois (French Canadian) who had been engaged for one day were our final companions and excellent value. One last drink at the Irish Pub. Rolling into bed at 2am was probably not very clever though.
