Does not do justice to the wind

Does not do justice to the wind

I love German breakfasts 😊.  Especially after 12 hours sleep.  Spent the morning in the Bode museum on Museum Island which is literally outside our door.  Our accommodation is good and so well placed.  Walking distance to almost everything.  The museum was interesting and stayed there till lunchtime when we walked through the pouring rain to meet Kerstin.  We then caught the U Bahn to Hohenschoenhausen – the GDR Stasi prison.  Our guided tour was very informative – my knowledge of East Germany and the traumas of the locals during the period from the end of WWII to 1989 when the wall came down was limited prior to today.  We walked out of there into amazing (not good) winds.  Trees were down causing traffic chaos and at times we were nearly blown off our feet.  Getting into the tram to go home was a welcome relief.  We went to a German restaurant for tea where we had good German fare, washed down by good German beer.
