Arrived in Germany and made it to the motel where our room was ready early so we got to shower!! Kerstin arrived to pick us up for a day of being touristy. Was great to see her again. It’s just like she has never been away when we catch up with her. Lunch at one of her local favourites and then to her apartment to sort the plumbing (ok the plumber did that – we just sat and had a beer) and then went for an exploring tour of her favourite local areas. Mitte is where we are, Prinzlauerberg is an area full of trendy young dads out with their one child. Hardly a mum to be seen. Lots of great architecture and interesting things. Eventually decided that tiredness was overtaking us and crashed.
