Kerstin met us and we headed off to the Smithsonian. Talk about enormous! We spent some time at both the Museum of Natural History and the Air & Space Museum. You would need a week to do them justice but we saw as much as we could before meeting up with Dan about 4 at Arlington. We went to the grave of JFK, the grave of the Unknown Soldier and witnessed the changing of the guard, and had a bit of a history lesson. Also had a geography lesson, as Arlington while sort of Washington is actually in the stage of ????? We then all went to tea at an American style restaurant when we had nachos with blue chips, buffalo wings, crab cakes, grits, fried chicken and more. Farewell to Dan till next time.
