Got up early and headed for quick look at the Capitol from a distance and the Library of Congress which just makes you want to study there. Then we caught a shuttle to Baltimore and flight to Miami (via Atlanta). Long day travelling. Picked up a 7 seater Dodge at Miami airport - red of course as it goes faster! Ian was the brave one and drove from the airport to Miami Beach where we are staying. Accommodation is nice - roomy, has a full kitchen (so we cooked in) fronts the beach, and has two pools with a bar. We are on the 16th floor overlooking the city - very pretty.
