Ian and I left the girls today. We had a 4am start (ugghhh) but were picked up promptly and off to JFK to fly to Buffalo, and then bus to Niagara Falls. We left the country for Canada (and have another stamp in the passport) and spent a couple of hours looking at the Falls from above and below, and went up river for a bit too. It was all very good, but the boat ride to the falls at the bottom was hilarious! Like me most of us expected to get a bit misty - wrong - anything that was not under plastic was saturated! What fun. Dried off fairly quickly as the weather was over 30 degrees and sunny. The girls spent the day at "The Met" art museum, and then went off to "Les Miserables" and followed this with dessert at Ellen's Stardust Diner where the staff are hopeful Broadway actors who sing as they deliver your meals. All the reports were very good. Brydie thinks she has gone to heaven.
