Ian at the Jungle Temple

Ian at the Jungle Temple

Ian not feeling so crash hot today - but he decided to brave it and it was worth the effort.  We started with Angkor Thom and then the Banyon temple. From there we went to the Elephant Terrace and Preah Kdei.  it is incredible, all these huge temple structures throughout the jungle that were lost for so many years and have now been found again.  Each is different and  so much of the work is delicate even though it is done in stone.  We went to another training restaurant for lunch, then on to the Angkor Children's Hospital to drop off some clothes and toys that Sandra collected and we helped her bring over.  An amazing place.  Doing so much with so little.  Makes you realise how spoilt we really are where we live.  Went off to the night markets for a look around and tea. While there had a fish style foot massage - talk about tickly. Well worth trying.  Finished off the night with proper foot and leg massage which was lovely!
