Reluctantly left the Bryn Howells Hotel in Llangollen as it was very nice. We headed off to Shrewsbury via the aqua duct at Llangollen. An amazing structure - a canal used by the canal boats that is 126ft in the air running in iron channels about 6ft deep. Got to Shrewsbury and found our accommodation and the went and walked the town. So much of it is old and what you would call classically 'English'. Went wandering in the 'dingle' - basically a beautiful walled garden. Found one cathedral that was a bit different - it was round, and then checked out a few local pubs before having dinner.
