Wrexham - an ancient Roman city

Wrexham - an ancient Roman city

Started the day with a visit to Shrewsbury Abbey. An interesting building built in three stages, with the new part being completed in the 1830s. Very helpful town.  Could not walk anywhere with a map without someone offering help. Quite amazing. Then off to Wroxeter - an old Roman town just out of town. There was a Roman house there that was built on a TV show to genuine Roman specs. Our last stop before Solihull was the RAF museum at Cosford where they had more full sized planes that I had seen displayed in four enormous  hangers. Lost track of time here.  Then off to see Pat and Karen and had a curry and lovely night in with the two if them.
