A view in Llangollen

A view in Llangollen

Sunshine saw us out of York and the rest of the day followed suite (mainly) but no rain!  Drove to Llangollen - two and a bit hours and we are across the country. The roads are mad - so much traffic all travelling at 70mph - yes they still operate in miles. Llangollen is a very cute little tourist town. Our accommodation is upmarket (very much so for the price). We walked the 45mins into town via the canal pathways passing many canal boats.  They look like lots of fun.  Wandered round the town checking out the scenery, returning for a lovely tea in their upmarket restaurant.  Bit special.
