Decided to go and do the morning tour of Dachau. Our guide was a Brit and actually gave us the 5hr version. It was certainly an eye opener and he was quite passionate about the subject and telling us all about all that went on there. What can you say. It is quite unbelievable what us humans can do to each other. For the remainder of the afternoon we went back to Marienplatz and I made Ian watch the glockenspiel again before exploring the fresh food markets. Stopped for a beer before tea and had a well deserved early night. BTW my Deutsch is proving adequate for the very basics and slightly amusing for the locals who speak both languages :)
