CDT Here I come!

I arrived last night after 47 hours of flights and layovers from Kathmandu to Mumbai to London to Chicago and San Diego. But I leave in just 5 hours on a Greyhound for New Mexico to begin thru-hiking the CDT. I'm meeting up with my two hiking buds: Trainwreck and Abear. I have spent the day re-packing my things and buying a Kindle. No time to waste! I will update this as often as possible.

Hi Em,
Happy you arrived home "safe and sound" but it must have been "some trip"! Too bad you didn't have more time to spend with siblings and mom. It's Mother's day today and I am fortunate to have John L. flying in for business tonight just in time to celebrate with me. Joe, up the street, is coming for business Sunday too so the good friends will get to see each other. We wish you lots of luck on your walk. We watched a video of the trail so are aware of what's involved. My cousin, Evelyn, on mom's side, is coming on Sunday to spend the night. She follows your blog. Lots of luck in your travels.
