hello everyone. I just spent a lovely 5 days pulling grass from olive trees. I stayed with a couple from Zimbabwe and have learned a great deal about being white in apartheid south africa, being a policaman in the bush in Zimbabwe, African politics, how to make olive oil, stories about Egypt. It has been fabulous. And there is a waterfall on the property that I swim in every day. Tomorrow its off on a 3-day bacpack trip. I'll give a proper update in a few days.
