MOSI

UNITED KINGDOM | Tuesday, 12 May 2015 | Views [489]

Yesterday I went to the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester.  I was there for 4 hours or so. I learned that many things we're invented in Manchester, such as the steam press for making clothes, as well as the first all-steam railroad.

I also learned that steal urine used to be used to bleach clothes. Who would have thought? I never knew that piss was good for anything.

After that, i took a walk along the myriad canals of Manchester. There are canals, and locks for shipping goods, as the canals are 25 miles inland.

The unfortunate thing is I had to check out the hotel today. I found a new hotel for tonight. I wasn't quite ready to leave Manchester, otherwise I would have been less hesitant of checking out. (i thought I could easily book another room for tonight).
