So now I have had three more days in San Francisco and have worn myself to a frazzle.
On Friday after getting back from Yosemite I caught the bus to Golden Gate park and spent ages wandering around until I found the M H De Young Museum. Spent a couple of hours in there quite happily and went up to their 9th (?) floor observation floor for a great view out across San francisco. unfortunatley it was a little cloudy but not too bad.
After the museum I went all around the Botanical gardens which have plants from all around the world and were very beautiful.
Then a long walk through a district called Haight Ashbury which has loads and loads of funky shops, tattooing and piercing places, vintage clothes shops and great places to eat.
Finally staggered back to the hostel and collapsed knowing I had a long day again on Saturday.
