So flew into Sanfrancisco yesterday and the sun was shining, always a good start. The immigration man was nice but didn't seem too keep to let me in. Kept reminding me I had to leave by 9 September, which is fine as my ticket to Bermuda is booked for 1 September. And he felt the need to explain that immigration officers usually like to know that people had a paid job to return to, i thnked him for his concern and said I certainly hoped I'd bet a paid job when i went back home!!!
Made it to the hostel, very hot and sweaty after a seriously up hill hike but the place seems nice and I get free waffles for breakfast - Yum.
Managed to stay awake until 8pm (i.e. 4 am UK time) and was probably to exhausted I slept well.
Today i am off for a little sight seeing, may go to Alcatraz and then this evening i set of on my National Parks tour for 16 days. So there may not be another up date for a while but will tell you all about it when i get back here.
