Had the most annoying driver in the world on the coach to Seattle. I have no doubt in my mind that he thought he was hilarious and was doing us a great service by chatting along and pointing out that there were lamas on the left and a casino on the right but his voice was like dragging nails down a black board!!!!
Made it through customs without any problems and then started hit the traffic but we still managed to make it into Seattle only 15 mins late which was pretty good considering we had been late leaving.
The hostel I am staying at is quite a long way out of the downtown area but I made it there OK even if I was a little hot and bothered cos the sun was beating down - somewhat unusual for Seattle I am reliably informed.
Anyway I was greeted with open arms by Lee, one of the owners, when I got there and made to feel truly welcome. I think I'm goign to like staying here very much a great atmosphere and lovely people.
