Another big trek today. Becky and I went our separate ways forst thing then met up at the seabus terminal to go across to the North bank of the river and up to the Capilano suspension bridge.
The seabus crossing was fun and on the otherside there was a great indoor farmer market so we bought some treats and had lunch before catching the bus up to capilano.
There was a display giving the history of the first bridge and the people who built it then details of the new bridge. It was great fun crossing the bridge cos it sways quite a bit and you coudl see everyone feelign all wobbly. It was reminicent of Indian Jones crossing a bridge and at one point a security guard in a tower looking over the bridge told people off for trying to swing the bridge too much - very funny.
On the far side of the bridge we did a short nature trail with a guide. She was very sweet and told us about the trees, the fish in the pond and the other wildlife around. Then we followed the tree walk with a few platforms attched to some of the tree trunks and some connecting bridges - all very nice and peaceful up there.
So tomorrow I go to Seattle and it's the begining of the end of my trip - boo hoo.
