Last day in Victoria. We weren't in a ny hurry to head across to Vancouver because we have just found Victoria to be the most lvely place. I would happily stay here longer or come back another day and would certainly recommend it to other people as a fabulous destination.
Did a bit of shopping. Saw the most amazing Toffee apples in the window of the Rocky mountain chocolate shop. Wish I could have bought one for Megan but a) it woudln't keep and b) it would get crushed so settled for taking a picture. Bought one more bargain book to keep me going.
The Coach/ferry/coach trip across to vancouver was uneventful apart from Becky losing her ticket on the ferry and a few tnse moments when we weren't sure the driver woudl let her back on but it all worked out OK in the end. It was raining when we got of the ferry but had cleared up by the tiem we got of the coach.
Made it to the YWCA just fine - christ this place is expensive for what you get - but what can you do. Just frustrating when I think what else I coudl have done with the money if I had stayed in a nice cheap hostel instead.
Didn't really do anything other than walk around town for a bit and then go to the cinema to see the latest Narnia film.
