BAT out there

Victoria - that regal city

CANADA | Saturday, 24 May 2008 | Views [423]

So here we are in Victoria.  We had a domestic morning doing washing, sending postcards (Becky) making phonecalls (Me) and using the internet.

I have been trying to work out a plan given the disaster of the buyers pullign out of the purchase.  Looks like I'll be going back to the UK in early June in order to save as much money as possible to make sure I get to go to Africa in November.

Booked to go Whale  watching tomorrow then jumped on a bus to go to the Buchart gardens which are open late tonight cos there is a cruise ship in - so lucky us.

The gardens were lovely, lots and lots of pretty, stunning and nice smellign flowers. All laid out in formal gardens and I enjoyed it very very much. The sunken garden was probably my favourite.

Becky and I have now decided that our luck is non-existent when it comes ot travel/transport though.  Because of th gardens  opening late there shoudl have been a bus back at 7pm but it didn't turn up so we had to wait another hour for the 8pm bus *&^%*$*&^

Cheered ourselves up by over eating AGAIN at Earl's
