Went to THE best museum in Canada - well according to the guide book and I have to say I do agree. It was the Manitoba Museum and it was really well laid out and very informative. They had loads of dioramas which are both scale and life size models depicting all kinds of stuff like native american camps and railway building etc. And the museum covered everything from the geology of canada to the native americans to the coming of the Europeans and so on - You shoudl all go and see it :o)
Anyway then I picked up my pack (which seems to grow every day) and was back on the train except it was delayed for 2 hours so I went and bought provisions at the Forks Market so got losts of lovely fruit and stuff. Sat near a very interesting guy on the train who knows a lot about wildlife and the country side we were passing through. Also made some recommendations for further down the line.
Anyway actually managed to sleep on the train for afew hours thanks to the wonders of ear plugs and my beautiful, soft, squidgy lovely new travel pillow I have bought - Ah heaven.
