Another major trek to get to the airport street car, subway and bus but nbot bad for $2.75 for the whole trip and it all went smoothly. In fact so did the whole journey with check in at the airport being fine and the flight uneventful.
So Winnipeg is well on the way to the mid point of Canada and is rather unimpressive. The city feels a bit like Milton Keynes (souless)and the hostel was a complete dump. I would rdommend no one ever stay here - room was clinical - breeze block walls and lino floor, the lovkers were all broken and the electronic door system kept breaking so you had to get a new key almost every time you went out!
Did go for a good dinner and listened to some live blues music in a bar the name of which I forget but in a bid to save me from the hostel I went to a late night movie and saw Emotional Arithmetic - very good but emotional subject matter, oH and I was the only one in the cinema!
Can't wait to move on tomorrow.
