Indonesian's love everything sweet & the new way of seeing things is sugar coated. The bread is full of sugar. The milk is sweetened condensed milk. And when we request tea or coffee 'without sugar', they laugh at the funny, jokey westerners, put a heaped tablespoon of sugar in & give us an extra bowl of sugar on the table coz we are bound to want more!?
